My goal is to spiritually feed you and equip you to help minister to others.
God says we are all our brothers keeper. He has commanded each and everyone of us as Christians to go and make disciples of all nations, Matthew 28:19. He also tells us that we need to be prepared to give an answer for the good news and the hope that we have in Christ, 1 Peter 3:15. So we need to prepare ourselves by learning about other people and especially learning about God through His Word.
We have all been in bondage in our lives at one time or another. Sin is a form of bondage and it is what keeps us in bondage until we are set free. God says that He has allowed all men to sin so that we might experience His grace, Romans 11:32. You see, He sets us free. Those of us that have experienced the freedom of His saving grace know what redemption feels like. Therefore we need to go and help others experience this freedom. We need to help bring this freedom to others regardless of what type of bondage they are in. Whether through false religion, sin, oppression, fear or whatever it is.
When I was a Mormon I did not have one Christian approach me and help bring me to the truth, thus freedom. We are our brother’s keeper and we need to help bring this freedom to our brothers and sisters.
We will not be able to experience God’s blessings in our lives until we are set free from whatever bondage we are in. God wants to bless us. He says my kingdom come, my will be done on earth as it is in heaven, Matthew 6:10. In heaven there is no bondage, there is freedom. Wherever the Holy Spirit is, there is a spirit of freedom, 2 Corinthians 3:17. Bondage comes from the enemy. Religious bondage is also from the enemy. Satan loves to work through religion. In order to experience any form of healing of the body, mind or spirit we need to be free from sin and bondage. Sin is bondage because it keeps God from being able to bless us.
It is the truth that sets us free. Whatever the root issue is, it needs truth brought to it. What patterns have developed in your life or others that need the truth of God’s Word in order to be set free? Have you believed that you were not good enough? That you were unloved? None of us are good enough and God loves everyone of us! There is nothing that can separate us from that!
This is the Good News of the gospel! Come and receive it!
